Hi I Was Attacked By A Dog A Couple Days

Hi i was attacked by a dog a couple days ago and it just about tore my bottom lip off. After going to the doctor they stitched my bottom lip up to almost like normal. My question is would it be ok to still smoke as long as i am using mouth wash or salt solution after i smoke?
