Hi, I Was Diagnosed With Alopecia Areata On My Beard.

Hi, i was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata on my beard. The dermatologist tried 2 sessions of cortisone shots while i was using minoxidil 5% spray on the area daily. It took around 2-3 months for me to notice a little white/yellow hair growth but it never recovered completely and now the affected area has tripled in size and is almost affecting my whole right side beard.

What can i do?

Someone i know recommended Keralin ointment which i got from india and others have recommended home remedies like rubbing Garlic cloves on the affected area.
