Hi ,i Was In A Car Accident About 7 Years

Hi ,i was in a car accident about 7 years ago and crushed my pelvis on the left side and cracked it on the right. For about the last month i am having pains shoot down my left leg(hip down).Should i be concerned or is this someting that i will have to deal with for the rest if my life? They had shown me xray and it looked like a bunch of toothpicks....
