Hi I Went To The Doctor To Get The Results

Hi i went to the doctor to get the results of some ct scans of my lungs, my doctor said i have emphysemia then said give up smoking , thats all he told me , ive not had a smoke for 3 days and ive no congestion on my chest at all, do you think i may have been misdiagnoised, ive since been told by my friends that i need other tests as well to make sure thats what i have. I have had pnemonia 5 times in my life also had a lot of bronchitus as a child. Im 55 yrs old and have smoked for 35 yrs, up until the past 3 days.
