Hi i wonder what diagnosis could be given out if one is embarrased and do not wish the family to know you have cirrhosis. My cousin is hospitalized in Washtington, her family (we live in Chile) two sisters and myself first cousin have been speculating around the symptoms her husband reports. They spoke first that she had pancreas cancer, then nutrition problems due to dehydration, and when the latest report came - draining fluid from peritoneus, I searched google and came across the only diagnosis one would not like to share. Her sisters have no idea and I will not tell them or anyone of my discovery..
