Hi Iam 12 Weeks Pregnant Nd Am Constantly Having Mucus

Hi iam 12 weeks pregnant nd am constantly having mucus in my throat on which i try to cough out from morning till night since i was 6 weeks pregnant. Right now is becoming unbearable though my doctor referred me to ampliclux but am scared to take it. Please what can i do cause iam dealing with saliva nd this mucus in my throat which is frustrating. I have to carry a bottle everywhere i go please help before i go crazy
