Hi Iam Concerned About Getting Pregnant Because With My Last

Hi iam concerned about getting pregnant because with my last pregnancy i delivered via c-section at 26 weeks. my dr advised me that to keep from having a premature baby next go around i should get my cervix stiched up. what are the precedures for stiching up a womans cervix? do you go in from the inside? do you make a small cut at the bottom of my stomach? Please explain the process. Thanks
