Hi Im 57 Female Post Menopause I Have Acid Reflux

Hi im 57 female post menopause I have acid reflux which I take tablets 2 a day. I keep getting a throbbing sensation in the upper abdo and goes into my throat. Throat is sore and always feels like theirs something stuck their. The throbbing sensation goes off after 5 mins or so . Is this a major problem or something very simple.
