Hi Im A 31 Yo Female. I Habe Been Having

Hi im a 31 yo female. I habe been having very regular periods for a few years now and recently had a miscarriage back in September. We have had no luck getting pregnant since then. My period isnt due till tomorrow this month but 3 days ago I started spotting(only when I wipe) a brown spotting. Its been very sporadic and has been getting lighter. I figured it was my period but it seems to have stopped and if it was going to be a period I would imagine it would get heavier. I haven't even transferred the spotting onto a pad its only when I wipe. Today I started getting a very mild almost unnoticeable cramping on my left side only. I ttok a pregnancy test yesterday but it was negative, I was told to wait till after I actually miss my period. Is there a chance it could be implantation spotting? I'm so anxious to know if I'm pregnant this would be my second pregnancy but if it goes to term my first child. And I'm hoping im pregnant! Can anyone help please...
