Hi Is It Normal To Have Severe Chest Pain,where I

Hi is it normal to have severe chest pain,where I cant lay down(gets worse) with Pneumonia ? Iwent to the hospital and they gave me antibiotics, morphine and Perk 10 every 4 to 8 hours which barely took the edge off. Now I have had herniated disks in my back and way less pain meds and they worked just fine. I am concerned about this pain in my chest on meds. Thank you for your time
