Hi, Is There Cause For Concern If My Left Carotid

Hi, is there cause for concern if my left carotid artery is intermittently pulsating visibly as well as my neck quivering? It starts feeling as though it is the pulse, but then seems to extend to muscles down the left side of my neck. My face also feels a bit tingly/numb on that side. I am thin, 47 years old, female, on no medication. Non smoker and minimal drinker. Otherwise in reasonable health.
