Hi Ive Been Having Ear Wax Build Up And I

Hi ive been having ear wax build up and i used a q tip yesterday. I think i may have pushed the ear wax deeper causing it to hit the ear drum. My ear hurts and it releases a sharp pain when i burp or when in having a hiccup. Can u tell me what i should do? Thank you in advance
