Hi Just A Question, Me And My Partner Have Been

Hi just a question, me and my partner have been together for a few months now but recently i have had a new iud put it, different from my last iud. And he just recently started to get red spots on the head of his penis? the do not hurt or irritate but he is concerned the are not swollen either. I guess we are just wondering then would my iud be poking him and causing these spots? cause these spots havent gone away and its been about two weeks or more?
