Hi Just A Quick Question , I've Got A Medical

Hi just a quick question , I've got a medical with dvla , but I've got hepatitis b since I was born with it threw my mother and my gp knows this will I have to get a letter from my doctor to take with me to the medical to state that I was born with it and keep fit , please advise
