Hi, My 10 Year Old Son, Has Been Having Infection

Hi, my 10 year old son, has been having infection led wheezing since he was 3 years old. (at least 4-5 times a year). Since he was 5, during attacks, we have been giving him Duolin + Budecort 1mg repulse, and he recovers within 2-3 days. He is otherwise healthy, of normal weight and exuberant always.Is this medication safe for him? Also is it still effective as this was a medicine which was prescribed when he was 5 years old.
