Hi My 11years Old Daughter Has A Frenulum, It Is

Hi my 11years old daughter has a frenulum, it is located to the middle of the tongue and has been there without much problem. The frenulum has become very painful with all associated activities such as eating, talking and moving the tongue around. What do you recommend for her case.
