Hi My 2 Year Old Daughter Has A Chalizon On

Hi my 2 year old daughter has a chalizon on her left eye. It appears she has 2 more on the right eye. Could their be an underlying cause? I'm just not convinced its blocked oil glands. Shes very hard to control to sit still for warm compresses. We have been washing her eyes every night with baby shampoo using a qtip for each eye. Her eye dr said she could have surgery to remove the one on her left eye or do nothing. I'm waiting on a phone call back to get her back in to look at the right eye. Her ped prescribed eye drops which didn't do anything. What kinds of question should I ask when go back to the eye dr. Thank you. Tracy
