Hi My 3 Year Old Sons Forehead Was Irritating Him

Hi my 3 year old sons forehead was irritating him and a few days ago and i noticed it was red and looked sore but he wouldnt let me touch it the next morning a circle was formes and looks like a rash im worried it could be ringworm as i have just googled a picture i bearing in mind i have no idea what it is.
