Hi, My 5 Year Old Had A Fever Since Last

Hi, my 5 year old had a fever since last Friday. Two days ago he complained that he can't walk, in fact he can only walk on his toes. At first I thought it might be a cramp but two days later he still can't walk normal. I noticed that while sitting down he moves his legs around like normal. What can this be?
