Hi My 5year Old Son Has A Virus At The

Hi my 5year old son has a virus at the moment(dr said this on wednesday) he had high temp,sore throat and skin rash and complained his legs and arms were sore.he is well on the mend but start crying when i was showering him with a pain in his right-went after a minute but its coming and going and still bothering him;would this be still from the virus?thanks
