Hi My 7 Year Old Had A Bad Fever Friday

Hi my 7 year old had a bad fever Friday night with vomiting I gave her kids nurofen and adult Panadol. She was better yesterday although seemed to have welts on her that looked like mosquito bites. Last night her eye swelled up and now she can barely open it. I don't think there is a discharge. What would cause that?
