Hi, My 8 Year Old Daughter Was Bitten On Her

Hi, my 8 year old daughter was bitten on her face by a bull terrior on saturday. It's tooth pierced her cheek which didnt go right through and needed glue to close it. However on the inside of her bottom lip, needed 10 stitches. I am wanting to find out how long it would take for the swelling to go down as she is extremely embarresedto go to schoolas well as the doctor informedmethat no main vein or muscle was damadgedbut a few smallvein were split. I needto know if this would leave mydaughter with any future swelling or scars.
