Hi , My 80 Year Old Father Has Been Diagnosed

Hi , my 80 year old father has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and is still in hospital awaiting a stent operation. It has been decided with him and his team that no other procedures will be implemented other than pallative care after the procedure. Is it possible to say what is the life expectancy from here in. Looking at the symptoms it appears to be stage three. Many thanks. Paul
