Hi, My 84-year-old Mother Is Recuperating From Bronchitis And Just

Hi, my 84-year-old mother is recuperating from bronchitis and just completed a second round of antibiotics. She is concerned that she cannot hear well the past few days, that she thinks may be a side effect of the amoxicillin she finished today. I can find no credible evidence online that is the case, although there seems to be some evidence for other classes of antibiotics. Can you recommend something OTC she could take - perhaps a decongestant - that might open up her ears again? Thanks!
