Hi, My 9 Year Old Daughter Has A Low Grade

Hi, my 9 year old daughter has a low grade fever and earache. Se is recovering from an ear infection treated with amixicillin and now she is in so much pain again. The doctor checked her and said that she has a viral infection and ear canals are swollen but not infected and seem closed due to change in pressure (she was in the pool a couple of days ago). She was prescribed this but I want o make sure we are on the right track...
