Hi, My 9 Year Old Son Has A Pink Moon

Hi, my 9 year old son has a pink moon under one of his eyes. It looks like a black eye, but pink. I noticed it after school yesterday and he still has it this morning. It does not seem to hurt or bother him and it is flat. He doesn't recall getting hit in the face.
