Hi My Baby Put A Earbud In His Ear Unsure

Hi my baby put a earbud in his ear unsure of how far, all I know is he came to me screaming pointing at his ear with earbud still in it. I pulled the earbud out and abut of blood was on the end of earbud once removed earbud blood was running from his ear? Do I need to worry?
