Hi, My Boyfriend Gave Up Smoking Marijuana About 4 Weeks

Hi, my boyfriend gave up smoking marijuana about 4 weeks ago. Since then, he has the worst smelling farts ever. It bothers him more than it bothers me, he has increased his intake of fruit/vegetables, starting drinking smoothies ect, has a physical job and does plenty of exercise. What else can he do? Thanks
