Hi, My Boyfriend Got Kicked In The Shin A Few

Hi, my boyfriend got kicked in the shin a few weeks ago playing football, since then has ran a 10k and continued football but now is in a lot of pain. There is a lump sticking out his shin which feels like it's on the shin bone, does not hurt to press just walking. Thanks
