Hi, My Brother Has Bipolar Disorder Unspecified And Was Prescribed

Hi, my brother has bipolar disorder unspecified and was prescribed Latuda 40mg which worked for him fine, however when his physcatrist increased the dosage to 60mg my brother started experiancing hearing hallucinations. I was wondering can latuda side effects cause hallucinations or this is just a coinsidence?
