Hi My Brother Just Had Some Teeth Pulled And He

Hi my brother just had some teeth pulled and he said he smoked meth later that same day and now where his teeth were pulled is swollen and he says it very painful. I was just wondering what could happen does the meth infect the exteaction site? Can it cause an infection at the extraction? Thank you
