Hi , My Concern Is For 38 Year Old Male

Hi , my concern is for 38 year old male with right leg redness that has extended over pst 24 hours. On Keflex 500 mg has taken 2 doses PO. Has back pain, no fever no ibuprofen for 10 hours. HE feels like he has the flu
any ideas? should he go to a ER, I am Er nurse and I think he should go, he wants to wait till tomorrow, risk in waiting?
