Hi My Daughter Aged 21 Months At The Time ,

Hi my daughter aged 21 months at the time , fell 6 months ago banging her forehead above her left eye on a metal step. The skin didn't break but swelled instantly and bruised quite badly . It has left an indentation in her skin that looks like a pitted scar about 1 inch long. Since this her speech and development have stalled and (we are in UK) health visitors say she has a development delay. I am beginning to wonder for the last few days if she could have sustained a brain/skull injury?
