Hi My Daughter Has Completed 6 Months On Accutane And

Hi my daughter has completed 6 months on Accutane and still has scars and indentations. She was told not to do anything over the next 6 months. My questions are will these scars go away on their own or does she need to see a specialist or use some medication? Also may she use ipl hair removal treatment on her upper lip?
