Hi, My Dear Friend Is 30 And Has Sickle Cell

Hi, my dear friend is 30 and has sickle cell disease. had a large lump on his back (may have been diagnosed as enlarged vessels, though I'm not sure what that is). More recently he found a lump under this armpit. I've been looking for information but have not found anything very insightful, could you clear things up?
