Hi, My Family Has Contracted A Hug Under The Skin

Hi, my family has contracted a hug under the skin which gives the appearance of freckles. My step father came home covered in them, and now my mom has them. They look like freckles, but are bugs when pulled out and there were tons on their bed. What could they be?
