Hi My Father Had Angioplasty Before 4 Months After Attack

Hi my father had angioplasty before 4 months after attack and he was having cataract befor that. his left eye vision has became little blur. we talked with our heart specialist regarding eye situation, however his opinion is to wait till one year, because we can not stop mediciones for next 8 months. can you tell me should we go for cataract treatment or not. or else is there any way to stop the growth of cataract till one year.
