Hi My Father Had Stage 4 Prostate Cancer, Had Ureteral

Hi my father had stage 4 prostate cancer, had ureteral stents, as well as a hernia mesh in his stomach area. This past week he doubled over in pain and could not stop throwing up. He went to the ER and after doing a CT scan, they found nothing wrong with him so they discharged him. He is still in pain and hasn't gotten any answers. What could this be?
