Hi My Father Is 68 Yrs Old With Chronic Diabetic

Hi my father is 68 yrs old with chronic diabetic and HTN, got wound over popletial region i.e back of the knee jt, for that he used zimnic o antibiotic for 3 days by dr. advice. He has been taking Pencillin inj since my child hood whenever i got fever or any injury and it works excellently. Dr suggested to take PENIDURE LA 6, inj for five days. Can my father use that?? Dosage??
