Hi, My Friend Has Had Extensive Blood Loss In Her

Hi, my friend has had extensive blood loss in her urine. The doctors said it wasnt a stone or an infection but gave her a ct scan today with the sue and this showed a shadow! She's being urgently referred to a cancer doctor but they didn't say she had cancer. Is there anything else it could possibly be?
