Hi My Golden Threw Up Earlier This Morning What Looked

Hi my golden threw up earlier this morning what looked like his undigested food from the night before. He had a normal poop this morning but later in the afternoon he had diahrea. He is not acting like himself normally begs for food every second of the day but all he is doing is lying around. Gave him some water and he threw it up not a lot but 2 separate times with in minutes of each one. I noticed he doesn't seem to panting as he usually does and seems to be breathing funny like quicker shorter breaths. He still gets up to great you but just lies back down. He is usually very active but he is not been all day. I have not feed him all day either because her threw up this morning. I don't know if I should take him to the vet or just wait and see if he gets better by tomorrow?
