Hi, My Guinea Pig Bit Me On My Wrist And

Hi, my guinea pig bit me on my wrist and the next day i woke up and it was swollen not that much but it was and I don't know I here horror stories of rabies and death. I applied some ointment that said would help the swelling go down and wrapped it in a bandage but i don't know if that is what i should have done
