Hi My Husband Has A Pinched Nerve & Severe Pain

Hi my husband has a pinched nerve & severe pain in his back & shoulder.
He has been to a chiropractor today for some relief.
He is currently on fluvoxamine 100mg which is his normal medication daily ( 100mg)
He has been prescribed Tramadol (100mg) for pain relief for his back & shoulder.
We are away on our boat at the moment and he is resting and not doing anything.
Are these 2 medications okay together? He will only be on the Tramadol for a short time a few days at most
