Hi My Husband Is 68 Yrs Old Has Had Parkinson's

Hi my husband is 68 yrs old has had Parkinson's disease for 9 years. He was taking Azilect 0.1 mg daily along with his carb/levodopa. He is currently in a rehab facility and this morning they gave him Rasagline Mesylate 0.1 mg he as told this is the same medication, just generic for Azilect. I thought there was not a generic available as of yet. Is that correct or Abe they come out with one.
