Hi, my husband is being denied any pain medication. The pain clinic he was going to wants him to go through a program to get off pain meds, the problem is he is in his last years (age 62) and is riddled with arthritis, 2 kidney transplants, bad liver, congestive heart failure, all for 19 years plus a total of 37 surgeries. He just spent 5 weeks in the hospital and is on oxygen. Is it not possible that the medical profession would give this poor man some pain medication?
