Hi My Husband Received A Pacemaker A Couple Of Weeks

Hi my husband received a pacemaker a couple of weeks ago, and on top of his heart meds, he received Topzole for reflux. My question is: Will Topzolel not contribute to water retention as despite severe water retention pills, he still retains water, and I am trying to find out where that is coming from?
