Hi My Husband Was Diagnosed With Chronic Congestive Heart Failure

Hi my husband was diagnosed with Chronic Congestive Heart Failure in August, he is also type 2 diabetic. Lately he has been sleeping upwards of 10-12 hours straight a night. He works a fulltime job but as soon as he walks in the door he is in bed by 6pm and I have to wake him from a deep sleep to go to work. On weekends he does stuff for a bit and then wqill have a nap for close to 3-4 hours and then sleep another 10 - 12 hours. He doesnt see his heart specialist for 10 months and his family doctor isn't doing to much to help. Is this normal
