Hi My Husband Was Recently (less Than A Month) Diagnosed

Hi my husband was recently (less than a month) diagnosed with Adenoid cystic carcinoma T2 he has a tumor inside his ear canal. He is scheduled for surgery in the next 3 wks with radiation schedule to follow. He shows no sign of it anywhere else in his body at this time based on scans. Now if he has no problems and everything is clean post surgery. What can we expect as for his life? Is this a terminal cancer is this a curable cancer......life expectancy?
