Hi, My Insurance Company Will Not Cover My Prescription For

Hi, my insurance company will not cover my prescription for carvedilol, indicating "there are better drugs out there." Haven't had a chance to ask my own cardiologist this question, but I'm curious about the reason for their non-coverage and if there is a better substitute. I've been taking carvedilol for three years, with no troubles. Thanks.
