Hi My Left Hand Side Back Just Below Brad Strap

Hi my left hand side back just below brad strap down to just above waist feels like it is a pulled muscel. Upon seeing a chriopractor he touched my diaphram and its extremely sore. He said the back pain is from the diaphram. Is this possible? Also why would my diaphram be this sore? I have had no falls etc and didnt even know the diaphram was sore until he touched it.
